A Place Where Friends
Come Together
The Date is Sunday 13th April 2008
This day was going to be pretty special day in a number of ways.
Today I am leaving home to meet my friends from the group
The Garden of Friendship.
This is a surprise that has been aranged by Wendy for us all to meet Ann.
We have only ever spoken on the net, and some times on the phone
to each other. But this was a big step. To meet in real life.
While flying too Sydney, i was wondering how it would all go.
It is always different to meet in real life.
I must say, I was just a tad hesitant, I guess just the unkown always is.
Well the flight up was great. well till we got to Sydney. They were
experiencing bad storms there. And wow they looked great from the plane.
I had plenty of time to take in the view as we had to circle the airport
for 45 mins till it was reopened to land after being closed because of
the storms. They say time flys.....LOL
Well once on the ground, all was well and very wet....
Wendy had to pick up Cheryl first, and I was waiting at the terminel
till she came across. I was out the front and she must have gone straight passed me......LOL
so I rang to see where she was. Well as they both came out the doors,
there I was over the other side of the road.
Well we were waving to each other and carrying on like kids.
MMMM big kids that is.
Well from there we all pilled into the car and headed to Wendy's home.
The next step was finding our way out of Sydney.
I hate Sydney to drive in. It is the only place you can keep turning left in
and end up way over to your right somewhere. Yep lost.
But we arrived at Wendy's in good time.
And then from there we went to our cabin where we all stayed for the
next 4 days. Talk about kids. We are just big kids. We all hit it off like a
house on fire. It was just the best
We eventually got to bed around midnight or just after.
